Volunteer Opportunities

The dedication of our volunteers is one of the greatest strengths of Empowering The Next Generation Ltd

Volunteer Engagement at Empowering the Next Generation

At Empowering the Next Generation Ltd., our volunteers are not just contributors — they are changemakers. Every volunteer receives comprehensive training rooted in cultural awareness, trauma-informed practice, and equity-based approaches to ensure their experience is both impactful and meaningful.

We believe in building a strong volunteer community. Our team members are given opportunities to connect, share insights, exchange strategies, and support one another through ongoing peer engagement and reflection.

The relationships built through our programs are powerful. Volunteers often form deep and lasting bonds with the youth and families they support — creating a foundation of trust, mentorship, and mutual respect that extends far beyond the program itself. These connections fuel transformation and help young people feel truly seen, supported, and empowered.

Volunteer Opportunities

  • Mentor it.

Be a consistent voice of encouragement.
Join our Youth Mentorship team and support racialized and marginalized youth in building confidence, setting goals, and navigating life’s challenges. Whether you're offering career insights, life skills advice, or simply showing up as a trusted guide, your time and presence help shape the leaders of tomorrow.

  • Lead it.

Support youth-led events and leadership workshops.
Volunteer to help facilitate or support our youth-led events and leadership sessions. You'll assist in organizing logistics, mentoring young speakers, and creating safe, empowering spaces where youth can share ideas, develop skills, and take initiative in their communities.

  • Support it.

    Help deliver trauma-informed, equity-driven programs.
Whether assisting in program delivery, preparing resources, or supporting therapeutic group activities, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring our programs run smoothly and inclusively. Volunteers in this role work closely with staff to create safe, healing-centered environments that meet the real needs of participants.

Make it stand out.

“Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, ‘What are you doing for others?”
